ORDINANCE NO. 17-05
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF REDINGTON SHORES, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO MEDICAL MARIJUANA; PROVIDING FINDINGS OF FACT; BANNING MEDICAL MARIJUANA TREATMENT CENTER DISPENSING FACILITIES WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF REDINGTON SHORES, FLORIDA; BANNING ALL OTHER MEDICAL MARIJUANA TREATMENT CENTERS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF REDINGTON SHORES, FLORIDA; SUNSETTING REDINGTON SHORES ORDINANCE NO. 16-02 WHICH ENACTED A MORITORIUM PERTAINING TO MEDICAL MARIJUANA TREATMENT CENTERS IN THE TOWN OF REDINGTON SHORES, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR THE INCLUSION OF SUCH ORDINANCE IN THE “CODE OF THE TOWN OF REDINGTON SHORES, FLORIDA;” PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
“A copy of this Ordinance is available for public inspection at Redington Shores Town Hall, 17425 Gulf Boulevard, Redington Shores, Florida, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays. All interested persons may appear and be heard in respect to this ordinance.”
“Persons are advised that, if they decide to appeal any decision made at this hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.”
“The town maintains a tape recording of all public hearings. In the event that you wish to appeal a decision the tape may or may not adequately ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings. Therefore, you may wish to provide a court reporter at your expense.”
