Pinellas County TS Eta SBA Declaration
Individuals, Businesses impacted by Tropical Storm Eta may be eligible for low-interest loans
Help is now available for eligible Pinellas County individuals, businesses and private nonprofit organizations who suffered economic losses due to Tropical Storm Eta. Pinellas County has received a Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Declaration, which has created funding for low-interest loans. Three types of loans are available:
- Home Disaster Loans can help homeowners or renters repair or replace disaster-damaged real estate and personal property, including automobiles.
- Business Physical Disaster Loans can help businesses repair or replace disaster-damaged property owned by the business, including real estate, inventories, supplies, machinery and equipment. Businesses of any size may be eligible. Private, nonprofit organizations, such as charities, churches and private universities, may also be eligible.
- Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) provide working capital to help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small aquaculture businesses and most private, nonprofit organizations of all sizes meet ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster. These loans are intended to assist through the disaster recovery period.
