Hurricane Nate may not have paid the Tampa Bay area a direct visit, but the effects of the storm surge coupled with high tides were quite visible in our Town over the weekend. During this time of year, the sun and moon align, creating a stronger gravitational pull. Then Hurricane Nate pushed already high water further into our shore. This is an example of why Beach Re-nourishment is so important to our Town.
