The National Weather Service has indicated a prolonged period of moisture/heavy rainfall is forecast for the next week or so as a stalled frontal boundary remains over the area.

2” – 3” of rainfall has fallen just this morning in Pinellas County, with some areas in the county reporting some flooding issues already.

  • An additional 4” – 6” of rainfall with isolated amounts up to 8” is possible through the next seven days in Pinellas County.
  • This may cause flooding/flash flooding issues, especially since the ground is already very saturated.
