Pursuant to the Town’s Charter, at least once every 10 years, the Town Commission shall appoint a Charter Review Committee for the purpose of reviewing the Charter of the Town of Redington Shores, and for making recommendations to the Town Commission on any amendments, additions, or deletions to the Town Charter. The last Charter Review Committee was established on 4-11-2012.

The Charter Review Committee is made up of five residents appointed by the Commission, with one appointee designated by each District Commissioner from within that District, and with one appointee designated by the Mayor-Commissioner from the Town at large.

To be eligible for appointment, you must be a resident of Redington Shores in the District for which you are applying. Interested residents are asked to submit a letter of interest and resume to the Town Clerk, either in person or at: townclerk@redshoresfl.com no later than Thursday, March 28, 2024.

The Town Commission will consider resumes received for appointments at their next scheduled Regular Meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
