home hardening sales tax exemption

Florida’s Home Hardening Sales Tax Exemption has been effective since July 1, 2022 and extends through June 30, 2024. Consumers can purchase qualifying home hardening products exempt from tax during this period.

During the 2022-2024 Home Hardening Sales Tax Exemption, the following items are exempt from sales tax:

  • Impact-resistant doors
  • Impact-resistant windows
  • Impact-resistant garage doors
