Despite recent summer storms, our region’s average 12-month rainfall is 15.4 inches below normal. The Southwest Florida Water Management District has extended the water shortage order through March 31, 2027.
Water levels across the region’s lakes, rivers, and aquifer remain very low for this time of year. Cutting back on outdoor water use is one of the fastest and most effective ways we can all help protect our water supply.
All Pinellas County Utilities customers must continue to follow the watering schedule below for reclaimed, potable, well, and lake irrigation sources. As a reminder, Pinellas County Utilities is required by SWFWMD to issue citations with a fine for violations of these watering restrictions.
For our area:
Potable, Well, and Lake Water
- Even addresses (0, 2, 4, 6, 8): Tuesday
- Odd addresses (1, 3, 5, 7, 9): Thursday
- Mixed/No Address: Thursday
Reclaimed Water
- Even addresses (0, 2, 4, 6, 8): Tuesday and/or Sunday
- Odd addresses (1, 3, 5, 7, 9): Monday and/or Thursday
- Mixed/No Address: Monday and/or Thursday
Watering hours remain from 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. or 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Properties less than one acre in size may only use one of these windows.
If you receive your irrigation water from an entity other than Pinellas County Utilities, please check with them for your correct watering schedule.
