Attention residents of Punkin Key (the neighborhood between 180th Ave. E and 182nd Ave. E.:

UPDATE: As of 12:00 p.m. on 8-31-23, normal water usage may resume. The lift station at 180th Ave. E. has been repaired. Thank you everyone for your cooperation!

—-–———————-

Due to significant flooding at our lift station on 180th Ave. E., the station is temporarily out of service. We are actively working to repair this station; however, in the meantime, we are asking residents in the Punkin Key area to please limit/ refrain from using water (for example: utilizing sinks, laundry, drains, and toilets.) We will be updating our Town’s website and Facebook with pertinent information as it becomes available. We hope to have this resolved as soon as possible!

To dispose of sandbags, please note that the trash company does not accept sandbags. Residents are to dump out used sand in their yard and dispose of the bag in your normal trash bin. Used sandbags contain sand that is mixed with dirt/ debris so please do not dump the sand back onto the beach!
