Pinellas County has been awarded $813,783,000 by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support long-term recovery from Hurricane Idalia in 2023, and Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024. These funds from the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program can help rebuild homes and businesses, provide rental assistance, restore damaged infrastructure and address other critical community needs.
