Just a few reminders during this busy holiday season. Trash will NOT be picked up on Thanksgiving Day. Waste Connections employees are spending Thanksgiving with their families this year.

Our Annual Tree Lighting at Del Bello Park is right around the corner. Please join us this Sunday, December 1st, 5:00-7:00pm and get ready for some holiday cheer. The forecast is calling for a balmy 75 degrees, but we will have 10 TONS of snow for our own Redington Shores “White Christmas”. The children’s choir, chowder, hot cocoa bar, cookies and Santa will be waiting for your arrival. This is a FREE event.

December 7th at 11:00am is the 1 year Anniversary Celebration at Veterans Park located in front of La Vistana.

December 14th is our Santa Parade. We plan to leave at 2:30 and make our way through the town. Listen out for the Christmas music and sirens…that will be us! Be sure to come out and grab your share of candy and beads….and dog treats!

December 19th is the House Decorating Contest. The judges will be traveling throughout the town looking for the best displays. Please turn your lights on at dusk so they don’t miss all your hard work.

December 22nd is the Annual Boat Parade. The boats will be leaving from the Tom Stuart Causeway at 5:45 and heading north. Join us at Caddy’s Pub in Indian Shores to greet the boats and enjoy a fun-filled evening.

Redington Shores is a Toys for Tots donation drop-off center. Please bring all unwrapped gifts to Town Hall by December 18th. Thank you for making a child very happy this year!

We are trying something new this year. Town Hall is collecting items for a local food pantry. Canned vegetables, meats, fruit, instant potatoes, pasta, peanut butter, rice, soups are some suggestions. Any and all donations are much appreciated.

Redington Shores Board of Commissioners and staff want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
