The Town of Redington Shores is tracking an Extra-Tropical Storm Surge event that could impact our community.  We are currently under a Coastal Flood Watch until 7:00 am on Wednesday 01/10/2024. Initial projections for this storm system show the probability for a greater storm surge and longer duration of higher water elevations, as compared to the recent unexpected storm that we experienced in December of 2023.

Given these factors, the Town of Redington Shores has opened a sandbag station at the Redington Shores Town Hall,  located at 17425 Gulf Blvd.  Interested citizens in need of sandbags can come to Town Hall with photo ID verifying Town residency. Residents shall receive an allotment of ten (10) sandbags and the sand to fill them. If you arrive after hours, please sign in and take no more than 10 bags. They will be located on the back porch of Town Hall. Please stay up to date with Pinellas County / local weather alerts as they become available. If you have any questions, contact Town Hall at 727-397-5538. To find out more about your flood risk, visit
