Due to the appointment of Commissioner Erin Schoos to Mayor, the position of COMMISSIONER, DISTRICT 3 is being announced.

Pursuant to the Town’s Charter, the Town Commission must appoint a resident to serve out the remainder of the term, which would expire on the first Tuesday of November, 2028, or as soon thereafter as election results are certified. The resident appointed to complete the term may run to retain the seat in November of 2028 if the appointee wishes to remain on the Commission.

To be eligible for appointment, you must be a current resident of Redington Shores in District 3 and have been a continuous resident of District 3 for the one year prior to your nomination, and a qualified registered voter of District 3 in the town. Interested residents are asked to submit a letter or email of interest to the Town Clerk, either in person or at: townclerk@redshoresfl.com. Resumes or other materials supporting your qualifications may also be submitted.

The Town Commission will review letters of interest at the 7/8/2026 Regular Meeting.
