Pinellas County also recommends a drop-off method as follows:

Trees can be dropped off to be turned into mulch. Do not mix with garbage or place in plastic bags. Remove all decorations and lights.

At the Pinellas County Solid Waste Disposal Complex, Christmas trees are accepted at $3.00 per load for up to 5 Christmas trees per load and closed-toed shoes are required.
