A property owner’s insurance policy covers a lot, but it won’t cover flood damage. Because the Town participates in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), flood insurance is available. The Town also participates in the Community Rating System (CRS), which provides you with a discount on your flood insurance premium. Attend this workshop to learn about your flood risks, flood maps, property protection, and flood insurance at the second annual Flooding and Insurance Workshop presented by members of the Town’s Program for Public Information Committee.
